We have reached team capacity and are not accepting anymore registrations.

Thank you to the teams that have registered!!

I know you have all been anxiously awaiting this information and I sincerely appreciate your patience! Attached please find information regarding the 2022 Northeast Nebraska Basketball League.

The cost is $30/athlete. Again this year, we will not be charging a gate for spectators.

As in the past, we are limited in the number of teams we can accept to the league so please send registrations in early as spots will be filled on a first come/first serve basis. You may reserve your spot by emailing a completed roster (player & coaches info completed) by November 30th.  Due to some past issues with mail, this year payment and original rosters with parent signatures will be submitted directly to me on January 9th; PRIOR to playing your first games.  We ask that each coach submit only one check for their team made out to the Pender Booster Club.

Regular Season league will start January 9th and run Sundays through January 30th.  In an effort to allow as many teams to participate as possible and to keep those teams from same towns from playing one another (i.e. Emerson 4 vs Emerson 5 etc), we have elected to forego a league tournament this year and instead will have each team play one game on February 6th against their most evenly matched opponent (determined by record and point differential in event of tie). If two teams from same community finish beside each other the next team will be moved up and the lower of the two community teams moved down.  I am tentatively planning to begin play at noon on Sundays and end around 5 or 6 depending on number of teams in each division.  If you have schedule conflicts, please try to get those to me with your registration so I can work around them as best as possible.

3rd and 4th grade divisions will be playing man to man defense to half court up to a 10 point lead and then they must stay inside the 3 point arch line until the last two minutes of the 2nd period and will be playing on 9 foot hoops thanks to a new adjustable hoop upgrade in the "old" gym.

If you are not coaching this year and/or know someone else who is coaching and may be interested in league or teams (boys or girls) who may be interested in tournament, please feel free to forward this information on to them.

We're looking forward to another great year this year!  If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me!

Thank you,

Melissa Hansen
